eLitmus Placement Papers
eLitmus is a first-of-its-kind service in the world. Since it was launched in 2005, eLitmus has been redefining how fresher and entry-level recruitment is done in India. pH Test evaluates job seekers based on a variety of parameters, and grades them nationwide using an advanced statistical model, resulting in a pH Score for each candidate.
eLitmus has been one of the toughest test which requires CAT level preparation. And as there are no previous paper available anywhere it gets more tougher to even predict its pattern. As I was preparing for this particular exam I came across some papers which were tagged as eLitmus papers. I am sharing them here in links below. P.S: A word of advice : the elitmus study material given here is of very high standard, so if u r unable to solve it dont get dishearted, as not all the questions in elitmus are this hard. These type of questions are given in exams to check the ability of taker to differentiate between questions that should be attempted or left out..

I appeared for the pH test yesterday at Lucknow. it had 60 ques and 2hrs. duration.devided into 3 parts
quant.
logical reasoning and DI
verbal aptitude(english)
verbal was quite easy (4 ques on sentence comletion,2 passages with 4 ques each,)I did 12 questions.
logical reasoning was quite tough ,lot of data analysis and conclusion type .I did 4 of them
quant was also very tough I did 7 of them.
I do remember some questions of quant,but its I think they wont be repeated.

jay first of all there are no official sample papers from elitmus. And even if there are any sample paper for any exam that doesn’t ensure that questions will be asked from the sample paper. Sample papers are just for guidance and giving a hint about pattern. Talking about the above papers these are in no way related to elitmus officially. I shared them here because this paper is spread on internet in the name of elitmus placement paper. I just collected them and arranged at one location so that it is useful to get all of them together at same place.
Regarding Aptitude you have to prepare at CAT level. Prepare from Arun Sharma and it will be sufficient.

no dear GK is not asked. Thats whhy I have said these are not real question papers. And you cannot get real question papers anywhere as it is never disclosed and their standard is so high that students rarely remember them all after exam. Actually this tests your stress level as well by giving tough questions to be solved in limited time. Leaving GK you can try for apti questions given in these papers.

Yes dear It has negative marking but only if you give more than 25% wrong answers of your total attempts. i.e negative marking will start only after one fourth of your total attempted ones are wrong.
Suppose you attempt 12 ques than for first 3(12/4) wrong answers your marks will not be deducted but if you make a fourth mistake than from there on 5 marks will be deducted for every wrong answers.
Total marks allotted for one question is 10 and negative marking is 50% i.e, -5 if you make more than 25% wrong answers.

Karthik I know this is not real papers and if you can kindly see above comments, I have said clearly that these are not the real ones. NO one can get real paper of elitmus as they don’t provide it and students hardly remembers them fully after exam unless you go and by-heart every question after paying 699/- rather answering them. I am not misguiding anyone, as I have clearly mentioned that these are not real ones but these are the ones that is circulated in most of the groups online and a few website. These papers are not from one source but wherever I get something that I include here. My only purpose is to keep it arranged at one place so that it is easy for everyone. Because even though they will go to other sites they will find these same papers but they have to go through numerous sites. I am just trying to help by keeping at one place. If you are going to get the same thing then isn’t it better to have them at one single place thus reducing the difficulty of going to all those clumsy websites having more number of ads than the real stuff.

Jyoti there are no technical questions in elitmus. just three sections Apti, Problem solving(logical), and Verbal. Just prepare for these three.

Its apti and logic is at the same level as of CAT but verbal part is a bit lower than CAT but comparable with it so prepare at that level itself.

Generally if you score more than 90 percentile than you will get most of the calls and if it is more than 95 then you will get all the calls. And remember that whatever job is being posted through elitmus there only you can be called. If some company is not coming through elitmus then you can’t use elitmus to get in to them. So after writing elitmus go through jobs posted on elitmus on regular basis and apply to them so that you don’t miss any chances or better have a email subscription of alerts for elitmus jobs.

hi, i dont have my original marksheets of 10th, inter is its mandatory r not. they said that we have to bring the original marksheets for the exam centre.
and they also said that we have to reschedule the exam if we dont have original marksheets. i am going to take the ph test on 8 of this month. could u pls reply me can i eligible to take the ph test. but i have attested copies of my 10, inter marksheets and originals of my B.Tech upto 4-1 . can i take the ph test?

Yes it is necessary. They will verify your marks through those mark sheets. As your exam is on 8th so now you can not reschedule your test. Better go there that day with those attested copies talk with the exam incharge and if they allow with attested it’s ok else come back and apply for next test. For the next test you will get a discount of Rs200 if you are not able to attend the test on your scheduled date.

Sooner you give more the opportunities. The jobs posted on elitmus last for around month. So if you give examlate you may miss some of the jobs as they have deadline for applying. But before giving be fully prepared. If you are not prepared fully than don’t hurry finish off your preparation then attempt it. And as soon as you feel confident enough you can attempt it. There is no particular best timing for giving it. Only thing is when you are fully prepared give it.

I have 2 questions for you.
1) I have 60% throughtout the academics.
Do you think it is worth writing it or it just reduces my chances?
What is the cut-off ? Because most of the companies ask for 70% or 65%.

i scheduled my exam on a particular date, but i want to cancel it and schedule it sometime later. How shall i do that coz there is no option for cancelling.( i know about the rescheduling thing but i wont be able to take the test for at least 3 more months so rescheduling wont help i suppose )

hi Alok, i get 52% in 12th class. i got 73% in 10th. and my degree in b.tech is near about 73%.
now problem is that due to less %age in 12th i am not eligible for campus recruitment by any organisation. so please can u tell m that if i give elitmus exam then will i able to sit in campus reqruitment. and what is the minimum marks i hav to secure to clear this exam.

i just see the Book of suresh kumar verma by arihant publication for quantum cat and i think that book is better than arun sharma and i also think that career launcher study material is also good for that but i have some confusion regarding this. please suggest me that i am thinking right or wrong
